Just to see you smile :)

Today consisted of doctors appointments, the joys of motherhood at its best. Daddy and Mommy took princess Kora to her follow up at her pediatricians office, GREAT NEWS!!! shes getting so much better. Mommy and Daddy are feeling pretty under the weather. Speaking of the joys of motherhood how about the joys of marriage :) ( What temperature will we sleep with tonight HOT!!! OR COLD ??? ) that's always tons of fun.

We arrived at the pediatricians office for our sick princess at 3:00 on a very gloomy afternoon, but I love the rain, the sound it makes the smell. I think when its raining its the most relaxing time to enjoy life. They got us back to our room rather quicky and then we sat an entire hr to see her doctor, just to be told she looks great!!!

Note to self : Hide and Seek is always funner in the doctors office. :)

We really didn't need the doctor to tell us Kora was okay after an hour in the doctors office awaiting the doctors arrival it was plain to see our spontaneous two year old was just fine. Just seeing her smile was enough to show, shes okay...

- OH YES!!! WHICH BRINGS ME TO LAST NIGHT!!!!

Kora got into Mommys make up bag, she did her eye shadow and I think she had lipstick on her cheek could of been blush but by the sticky kisses she gave me I knew it was lipstick :)

Kora is famous for sweet sticky kisses

Not bad for a two year old...

BOWS FOR MADDIE

Today is actually a pretty sad day but in a way a wonderful day. While a mommy goes to the funeral of her beautiful 4 month old princess. The world around her honors her with a day of  BOWS FOR MADDIE . It's all over facebook this precious babygirls face, and her wonderful story is shared on this very site. Her mother is very strong and will need many prayers so I'm asking everyone to say a prayer for maddie and her family.

Here is her blog link...

Heart so full it could burst

When you smile I smile :D
Yesterday I stepped back and realized my baby is growing into a beautiful little girl. I can remember the first time I layed eyes on her and the smile she gave me. I can hear her first cry, even though its two years in the past now. I think sometimes its good to remember these things. Shes brought me so much joy and so much happiness in the little bit of time the world has been honored with her grace. I learned a long time ago that when you have a child no day is ever planned exactly the way your mind thought it would be. Kora, how I love watching her sleep, she looks so peaceful and sometimes she even cracks a smile. I've finished all my course work now I'm waiting to find out what my final is but I can't take my mind off of one thing. Life, how precious life truly is and how quickly life is taken from us. I don't think many truly understand just how much of a gift it is to wake up in the morning or watch your child sleep and dream there precious thoughts. You can notice everything about them just staring at them while they are sleeping, how round your cheeks are just like when you were born, how long your eye lashes are that cute button nose that sits in the middle and the lips you definitely got from your mommy. Kora hasn't been feeling her best lately, so yesterday after she asked many times to go outside, I decided 15 minutes wouldn't hurt. So I got her ready in her little bee outfit, that she loves to dress up in. The temperature dropped so we changed clothes and when back outside to continue our 15 minutes of mommy and me time Mimi joined in on the fun, I can't grasp how special it is when she smiles as well as when she cries, I take in her every emotion. I smile with her when she smiles because its hard not to smile when someone so sweet is smiling back at you. I comfort her when she is crying because that is what Mommy's do... ;)

Mommy loves when you smile ;)

Today when you woke up you yawned really big like you had the best dreams ^_^  To be continued....

Our day continued with princess Kora and her little aunt Mia going outside to play. Hand in hand they walk to the slide to slide together, Kora is still afraid to let go and do it herself so if Im around she will naturally reach out her hand. I'm amazed by her courage to walk up the stairs all by herself, I think she just wants me to hold her hand because she likes having me beside her. I hope later in life she feels the same way, I'm truely blessed. Mia and I stood there shouting you can do it , you can do it but she just reached out her hand... like I'm not going down this slide without you. Different things make me think of her like Sunlight, Its bright, just like her smile. I can already tell Kora loves alot of colors :) I'm not sure of her favorite color yet, but maybe time will tell.

MOM HELP!!!
I cherish moments like this although her expression may seem funny. If your a mom and your baby turns into a two year old and starts being independent you start to miss moments like these... ( The Mommy I need you moments are a blessing in disguise )

8:00 PM The princess went to sleep :)

A very sweet sick little baby in her deep slumber, in such a deep slumber taking her photo didn't wake her. Her blue blanket has a story, its hard to get it away from her, understand its a twin size comforter given to me as a Christmas gift. Kora loves this blanket so much if she doesn't have it she will not sleep. The Dora blanket behind her head was actually our funny idea to get her hooked on a smaller blanket, imagine sleep overs - ( laughs :D) You can see how well this has worked even the pillowpet wasn't a success to break the bond of the blue blanket
